Supporting Farmers Through Practical Training
ACZON Farms is working to equip smallholder coffee farmers in Eastern Uganda with practical agronomic skills that improve both productivity and long-term farm sustainability.
Recent training sessions have focused on topics such as proper coffee planting techniques, spacing and shade management, soil fertility basics, and early identification of common pests and diseases.
A Community-Centred Approach
Rather than delivering one-off lectures, the training model emphasises repeated field visits and hands-on demonstrations. Farmers learn by doing — planting, pruning, and observing their own plots alongside ACZON field staff.
Looking Ahead
As the ARISE Project continues to expand across Serere District and the surrounding communities, ACZON Farms aims to deepen its training calendar and reach more households committed to building a sustainable coffee future.
